Fork lowered height and capacity:
When selecting a frame width for your truck, you must take into consideration the overall pallet width and the width of the fork openings. Frame width should be wide enough to provide stability for the pallet it must support. At the same time there must be enough clearance for the fork to enter the pallet openings without scraping the blocks or stringers.
Fork length should ideally be the same as or close to your pallet length. This allows the pallet truck fork to support the entire length and distributes the entire load evenly over the complete fork. It is also critical to ensure that the pallet has suitable space for the load rollers to travel when the truck has entered the pallet all the way.
